THIRTY30 Make Hollyoaks Star's Dream Come True with Solo Singing Debut /
The team at THIRTY30 are extremely proud to have pulled off a unique flash-mob in Manchester city centre on Saturday 2nd February. Hollyoaks’ very own Nicole Barber-Lane (aka Myra McQueen) sparked an exciting performance amongst shoppers, singing the anthemic ‘This is Me’ from the ultimate film of 2018 ‘The Greatest Showman’.
The flash mob was organised to promote female empowerment and to inspire women to feel powerful in their own skin. Nicole took Manchester City Centre’s Exchange Square by storm on Saturday afternoon, bringing together over 50 dancers from The Dance Academy in Stockport and The Sarah England School of Dance in Stalybridge, with members of the public also joining in. THIRTY30 were able to secure some great press coverage on the day, including local TV station That’s Manchester, and major city-wide news site I Love Manchester.
Nicole Barber-Lane commented: “It was wonderful to be a part of something that showcased local talent from all ages. It just goes to show that we all have the strength to do anything when we put our mind to it!”
Amelia Cranstoun, Marketing and Events Executive at THIRTY30, said: “I’m over the moon with how the flash mob turned out. There was such a great atmosphere and a real buzz in Exchange Square. Everyone has worked really hard and I am so pleased we pulled it off!”.
